Some things are meant to remain,  forever, deep within.... ~ Shell

And then again, eventually perhaps,  all that we bury begins to bubble up to surface and reveal in a different light.

Very pleased that my ink and watercolor painting, Deep Within, was juried into the Art League's "Remains" exhibit for the month of April. The Remains show explored the theme of  "things left behind".  Artists were encouraged to broadly explore the concept of loss, whether a physical loss or an emotional one. 

The Art League is housed in The Torpedo Factory - a dynamic art space in the heart of Alexandria, Virginia that features the artwork and studios of some of the Metropolitan DC area’s most inspiring artists. A phenomenal place…it makes my heart beat faster, every time I’m there.
